Last night (19 Dec), Wang Lee Hom released a 4-page statement denying all allegations of infidelity.
The singer-songwriter began the post stating that "this is the saddest day of his life" and that this has been a "severely painful nightmare". He says that he's in a "dilemma": "If I rebutted the untruths levelled at me, it'll reflect badly on the mother of my three children, but if I don’t, the public will believe the rumours about me."

In Lee Jing Lei's 9-page exposé, she mentioned that she first met Lee Hom at the age of 16 and that he behaved in a flirtatious manner towards her then.

The singer, however, rebutted these claims, saying that he first knew Jing Lei (then known as Michiko Nishimura) after one of his concerts back in 2003. The two, however, lost contact for about 10 years and only reconnected via email back in June 2011.

Lee Hom added that he "lived under fear, extortion, and threats" throughout their marriage which began on 27 November 2013 and lasted till their separation on 5 August 2019.
He claimed that Jing Lei had forced him to wed her after she fell pregnant shortly after they began dating. He recalled that Jing Lei was extremely emotional that day and had threatened to "disappear with their unborn child and never be found again" should they not marry immediately. Seeing how agitated she was, he agreed to the marriage and the then-couple registered their marriage in New York City on the same day.

Lee Hom has also denied not giving Jing Lei a fair share of his assets. He claimed that Jing Lei had initially asked for 200 million yuan (~S$42.6 million) but agreed to receive around 150 million yuan (~S$32.2 million) from the divorce. Lee Hom also agreed to provide Jing Lei with a monthly allowance of 210,000 yuan (~S$45,000) as well as a nanny, chauffeur, car, and maid.
In his post, Lee Hom also mentioned that Jing Lei owns half of their Bel Air property in California, valued at US$12 million (~S$16.4 million) and half of their investment account, which holds around US$15.7 million (~S$21.4 million), coupled with extracts of legal documents.

The 45-year-old also pleaded with Jing Lei to "think of their three kids" and to stop airing their affairs on the Internet. He also begged Jing Lei to "let him see their children". Lee Hom then concluded his statement by apologising to Jing Lei, his parents, his friends, and the public.
Just hours after he released his statement, Jing Lei refuted his claims saying "nice try". In her rebuttal, Jing Lei detailed that the Bel Air property and investment accounts are assets that the two individually own and were not part of the divorce settlement to her. Attaching screenshots of an email thread with their marriage therapist, Jing Lei said that the therapist had suggested that Lee Hom has Sex Addiction and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
