A black cat eye is classic, but with people becoming more adventurous with trying different makeup looks, coloured eyeliners are starting to fill up beauty junkies ’vanity stashes. Currently trending is C-beauty brand Flortte’s Salade de Fruits range of cute liquid liners which resemble felt tip pens and come in a whopping 13 colours!

Flortte has been around since late 2018/early 2019, but recently exploded into virality over the past year or so. Their claim to fame? The uber cute Flortte Salade de Fruits liquid eyeliners, which can almost pass off as multicolored felt tip pens at first glance.

Upon closer inspection, you’ll see that each eyeliner pen has light grid lines on its tube casing, reminiscent of the jotter books and graph paper we used back during our school days. This is further dressed up with adorable cartoon-like illustrations of different fruits or food items, each corresponding aptly to one of the 13 shades.

Compared to Japanese brand Dolly Wink’s new coloured My Best Liner range, which are very much on the ashy and muted side, these Salade de Fruits eyeliners by Flortte are clearly vibrant and stand out well on skin, screaming unbridled confidence.

The eyeliner said to be waterproof, and according to reviews, is super easy to use as they glide on effortlessly. The tapered tips of the liner pens allow for versatile application - you can easily draw a thin layer on for a more natural appearance, or it pile on for a bolder look.

One thing to take note of is that the Sesame shade does not come out jet black, which can be either a boon or bane, depending on your preferences. If you’re someone who likes subtlety, this is perfect for you!
