On those days, drawing a simple eyeliner will help your eyes appear bigger and more awake. However, we know it's not easy to master the art of eyeliner drawing.

So, here are some tips on how to apply eyeliner perfectly so that it doesn't budge or smudge.

Read on to find out more!

#1 Apply eye primer

If you apply eye primer in a bid to make your eyeshadow last all day, the same should apply when using only eyeliner too. It prevents creasing and smudges, helping to make your eyeliner last as long as possible.

We recommend applying just a thin layer above your lash line where you will be drawing the eyeliner.

#2 Use pencil liner then liquid liner

For those who always can't seem to draw the perfect eyeliner, fret not. Since pencil eyeliners are easier to control, use it to line your eyes before going in with a liquid eyeliner for a more precise wing. You will just have to trace over the pencil liner to get eyeliner on fleek!

#3 Dust eyeshadow on top of eyeliner

Just like how you would powder your face after applying foundation to make it transfer-proof, the same theory applies to your eyeliner too. Simply take a few seconds to dust some eyeshadow powder on top of your applied eyeliner to mattify it and prevent smudges.

Use black eyeshadow on top of black eyeliner and brown eyeshadow on top of brown eyeliner.

#4 Use a cotton swab to correct any mistakes

Don't panic when you make a mistake while drawing eyeliner because it can be easily salvaged. Get a cotton swab and soak it in makeup remover, then 'erase' the parts you want to correct.

If it's just a small smudge, simply use the cotton swab to apply some concealer for better precision and to hide the smudge.

These four simple steps will help you achieve the perfect eyeliner that will last all day long!
