#1: Marc Jacobs - Perfect Intense
A new scent has joined the Marc Jacobs lineup, and this time, it’s inspired by the fashion and beauty mogul’s personal motto: “I Am Perfect As I Am”. While its predecessor, Perfect, was pink with candy colours topping its cap, Perfect Intense is a luxe champagne-hued concoction accompanied by black and metallic gold details - with similar bow, star, and shoe motifs as part of the design.
The fragrance is said to be floral, with top notes of daffodil and jasmine, but is balanced out with warm heart and base notes of roasted almond and sandalwood.
Price: $209 for 100ml, $174 for 50ml, $43 for 10ml
Get it from Sephora.
#2: Caudalie - Vinergetic C+ Instant Detox Mask
Now here’s one TikTok-famous beauty product that’s been making its rounds on beauty junkies’ feeds. With over 100 million views and counting, Caudalie’s Vinergetic C+ Instant Detox Mask is highly lauded to be a life-changer, especially if you have oily skin. In just 10 minutes, this rinse-off formula with key ingredients of pink clay, coffee, and grape, effectively detoxifies and tightens pores, while absorbing excess sebum that can cause clogs and breakouts.
100% vegan and free from silicones and fragrances, it’s gentle and safe for all skin types.
Get it from Sephora.
#3: MAC Cosmetics - MAC X L Collection
All Blinks in the area - rejoice! MAC Cosmetics has teamed up with Blackpink’s Lisa to launch the K-Pop star’s debut makeup collection. We’re talking the full works here, an eyeshadow palette, highlighter and blusher, liquid lipsticks, and liquid eyeliner.
As Lisa wanted the collection to have a “modern and glamorous feel”, she specially chose a glittery royal purple shade for the packaging - topped with her embossed signature in a fluoro-yellow, one of her favourite colours.
In fact, she had a heavy hand in curating the collection, and every shade and its name draws inspiration from things that are special to her. For example, the eyeshadows are named after her pet cats and most-loved ice cream flavours, and the highlighter is embossed with the image of an edelweiss - her favourite bloom.
Price: Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolour: $45 | Eye Shadow Palette: $106 | Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter: $68 | Powder Blush: $48 | Brushstroke 24-Hour Eye Liner: $43
Get them from MAC boutiques, Sephora, and selected department stores.
#4: d program - Urban Damage Care Range
Created by top Japanese skincare brand Shiseido, d program is specially formulated with sensitive skin in mind. Adding on to their arsenal is a new Urban Damage Care range to fight off the ill-effects of pollution - something we city dwellers definitely need when we’re constantly surrounded by exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke, dust, and other external aggressors.
There are currently two products in this range, the first of which is the foamy Urban Damage Care Foaming Wash helps slough off grime without stripping the skin. The thick, densely-packed bubbles of the foaming cleanser helps create a cushion of sorts that prevents the skin from being dragged through hand contact.
Follow that with application the Urban Damage Care Concentrate, a milky, lightweight, and non-sticky moisturiser that calms redness and soothes flare-ups. Able to lock-in moisture for up to 8 hours, this helps improve the skin’s texture so that it’s less rough and uneven.
Price: Foaming Wash: $32.90 | Concentrate: $49.90
Get them from Watsons.
#5: AERIN - Rose Lip Balm
Cracked lips begone with the new AERIN Rose Lip Balm - the brand’s best-selling Lip Conditioner now available in twist-up bullet form for those who find it more convenient than a squeeze tube. Highly nourishing with butters and oils, this rose-scented lip balm will give your pucker a soft, pink tint that is said to look natural on all skin tones.
Get it from Estée Lauder Marina Bay Sands and AERIN counters at Tangs and Takashimaya
#6: Charlotte Tilbury - Cryo-Recovery Mask and Eye Serum
We love Charlotte Tilbury for their amazingly pigmented eyeshadows and lippies, but this time, the newest launch we’ve got our sights set on is their Cryo-Recovery innovations. Wait, cryotherapy for the face? You bet. Not just for elimination of fat on the body, the extreme cold temperatures of cryotherapy can also help the skin repair itself, stave off signs of ageing and fatigue, and reduce inflammation thanks to increased blood circulation.
Take sheet masking to the next level with the Charlotte Tilbury Cryo-Recovery Face Mask, which combines the power of ice therapy with Chinese facial acupressure. Simply chill the soft silicone mask in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, and use it for 10 minutes on clean skin or after applying serum, massaging the built-in metal beads into your skin for extra rejuvenation. Once done, simply wash it and re-chill it for future use!
There’s also the Charlotte Tilbury Cryo-Recovery Eye Serum to make tired eyes feel more awake with a cooling metal applicator and a formula created out of caffeine, Swiss ice wine essence, extracts from beneath a Swiss glacier, and a magic crystal complex which includes moonstone and rose quartz. This, too, should be refrigerated (but not frozen!) before usage. Use it together with the mask for best results.
#7: Milani - Cheek Kiss Liquid Blush
We busy gals all love a good multi-tasking beauty product, and the new Milani Cheek Kiss Liquid Blush is one that will give a natural flush of colour to both your cheeks and lips. Available in 4 creamy shades, these blendable tints are vegan and cruelty-free, and are made using hydrating natural ingredients like pomegranate, rose extract, and watermelon.
Get it from Watsons.
#8: Goldwell - DualSenses Bond Pro range
To maintain salon-quality hair at home, you’ll first need salon-quality hair products - especially if your locks have been chemically treated and are thus prone to breakage. Refresh your tresses with the new Goldwell DualSenses Bond Pro range, which comprises a whole suite of products for a 5-step hair care routine: Fortifying Shampoo, Fortifying Conditioner, a convenient 60 Sec Treatment, a leave-on Repair & Structure Spray that protects the cuticle before heat styling, and the Day & Night Bond Booster that serves as a serum.
Everything in this range is specially created for brittle hair - including bleached and repeatedly dyed hair - and strengthens the protein bonds in individual strands in the long term, preventing them from snapping or splitting too easily.
#9: Dolce & Gabbana - Velvet Black Patchouli
Melding Oriental and European influences is the new Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Black Patchouli perfume, a sensual, woody blend of patchouli oil with clary sage and balsamic davana, housed in a mysterious black and gold bottle with engraved gold plaque. This fragrance is a suitable pick for those who prefer headier, exotic scents that linger instead of light airy ones that fade quickly.
Price: $590 for 150ml, $389 for 50ml
Get it from the Dolce&Gabbana Beauty flagship store at ION Orchard.
#10: ETUDE - Moistfull Collagen range
If you’re in your early or mid-twenties and are looking to get into anti-ageing care, the new and improved ETUDE Moistfull Collagen range is something you can start with. Now with a revamped clean formula with gentler ingredients and no artificial fragrances, this set of skincare that’s enriched with concentrated collagen is now made more suitable for those with sensitive and easily irritated skin.
Other than the Korean beauty brand’s trademark Super Collagen Water, this range also comes packed with hyaluronic acid for intense but non-heavy hydration that’ll create that clear “glass skin” effect. Ceramides and White Lupin are also included to help replenish the skin’s natural defense barrier.
Price: Facial Toner and Emulsion: $28.90 | Essence and First Essence: $35.90 | Eye Cream: $29.90 | Cream: $33.90 | Deep Cream: $39.90
