Actress Pooja Batra Married Beau Nawab Shah In A Secret Wedding Ceremony
Bollywood actress Pooja Batra and boyfriend Nawab Shah have been the hot topic of the month ever since the news of them dating came out. And here we are with another surprising yet exciting news! Any guesses? The duo secretly tied the knot on July 4 in Delhi. Confirming the news of her wedding to a leading daily, Pooja said, " Yes, we are married. Nawab and I exchanged vows in Delhi, with only our families in attendance. Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further. So, here we are. We had an Arya Samaj wedding, and we will register our marriage this week."
The couple got married within only five months of knowing each other. Speaking about the same, the former Miss India International said, "I knew of Nawab by virtue of being in the same profession. However, we strongly connected after we were reintroduced by a common friend in February this year. I guess we reconnected at the right time in our life. We were in the same space emotionally and hit it off instantly. We share emotional and intellectual compatibility, and we don’t have to explain too much to each other. I like the fact that he is a family person."
Yesterday, Pooja took to her Instagram account and shared an adorable picture from her engagement ceremony. She wrote, "Thank you for all your good wishes & Blessings".
Hubby Nawab also took it to his social media and shared this beautiful picture from their pre-wedding ceremony. He captioned it as, " Life Union ❤️ !! Thank you for all the love and good wishes!! Love and light ??".
Talking about how romantic Nawa is, Pooja said, " During the initial days of our relationship, there was this one time when he came to pick me up at the airport, and according to him, he wanted to pop the question right then. However, he got nervous and dropped the idea. He was ready to propose to me soon after we met. Eventually, he proposed to me in Delhi and again when he came to meet my parents with his family."
We scrolled through Nawab's Insta profile and stumbled upon this boomerang where Pooja is seen wearing a red chooda and of course don't miss out on their gorgeous engagement rings. Nawab wrote, "A story you can make a movie on ❤️?????"
Pooja recently shared a picture on her feed from the big day and we must admit she looks like so pretty in her wedding lehenga. Pooja wrote," We Did" to confirm her happy news to all her fans.

Pooja was previously married to orthopaedic surgeon Dr Sonu S. Alhuwalia in Los Angeles, California in 20002 and filed for divorce in 2011, due to irreconcilable differences. But love was generous enough to knock her door the second time and we couldn't be happier for the lovely couple.
