Dangal & Secret Superstar Famed Young Actress Zaira Wasim Decides To Quit Acting!!
Actress Zaira Wasim who is not only child extraordinary, talented actress, recipient of national award but also an inspiration to millions of girls not only across the country but world wide; shocked the world yesterday with her sudden post on Instagram. The actress took to her social media to announce her "disassociation" with Bollywood and acting.
The 18 year old actress made her debut in the world of lights, camera and action through Amir Khan's Dangal, she later on went to steal the hearts and become an inspiration to millions through her amazing acting in film Secret Superstar. The actress also is starring in the lead role in her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink alongside actress Priyanka Chopra and actor Farhan Akhtar.
Zaira explained in her post that her profession was intercepting her faith and preventing her from following her religion. Hailing from the gorgeous scenery of Kashmir, Zaira write how unhappy and unsatisfied her work used to make her. In her detailed statement the actress also wrote "though I may fit here perfectly, I do not belong here". It was heart breaking to read that such a young soul had to feel such intense emotions and pain.
Zaira shared the verses from the holy Quran and about her constant battles and struggles with herself to stand up for her faith, her happiness and peace in her monologue. The actress has also suffered from depression and anxiety in the past and to avoid herself from further spiralling into the dark depths, Zaira decided to step back and grasp hold of her faith and stand up for herself.

Even while the sudden decision of the actress is shocking the entire nation, millions of her followers and some renown personalities are respecting the young artist's decision and supporting her. Zaira's decision to quit Bollywood has also given rise to various social debates among some of the well known celebrities and public figures. On one hand where the respected chief minister of Jammu & Kashmir Omar Abdullah supported the young artist, on the other hand infamous Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen has opposite views regarding the situation.

While it is truly sad to see Bollywood loosing one of the most budding and talented star, as Zaira's fans we do not have the power to make her change her decision, but we do have the power to show our support and appreciation for her decision and pray for her well being.
