These Mini Korean-Style 3D Bear Cakes By Singapore Baker Are Almost Too Adorable To Eat
Korean-style cakes are getting pretty popular in Singapore, and among their defining factors are cute and minimalist designs as well as cakes with crowns - all piped in buttercream with a somewhat old-school sort of look. Animal-themed ones are also a hot pick!
While only a handful of bakers in Singapore offer Korean-style cakes - mostly in relatively simple designs - yoyosummer_sg is way ahead of the dessert trend with her 3D bear-shaped Korean cakes that are almost too adorable to eat.

Recently, she has expanded her repertoire of sweet treats with vintage-style cakes, a trend that has been popularised by the Koreans. Among all her creations, her 3D bear-shaped ones that break the mould of the standard round or square cakes have stood out to us the most!

This white 3D bear cake ($69) in a chocolate flavour measures just 4”, which makes it perfect for small, intimate celebrations for a party of two. This way, you get to have your cake and eat it - all without feeling guilty about over-indulging.

Another one we’re keen on is this brown Korean-inspired mini bear cake. A small 4” one costs $55, while a 6” version costs $65. Customisation of colours and design is possible with additional fees.

It’s not just the cakes themselves that look good - the packaging is also highly worth a mention! Each confection will be lovingly encased in a transparent box that’s decorated with cute stickers and topped off with a bow, before being sent off to your lucky recipient. Since we’re back to Phase 2 and can’t dine out, why not make a loved one’s day by sending this to them as a surprise?
