Read on to find out more!
Based on the 2018 Korean movie, My Love revolves around the love story of Zhou Xiao Qi (Greg Hsu), a swim athlete, and You Yong Ci (Zhang Ruo Nan), a transfer student, over the span of 15 years. They fall in love in high school, only for her to leave suddenly without saying goodbye. Fate decides to bring them back together again as they meet years later, but will love be the same?
Those who have watched the original would probably describe the movie as heart fluttering, realistic and touching, so we are excited to see if the Chinese version will be able to live up to the expectations.
One thing's for sure though - Greg Hsu's impeccable acting skills paired with his chemistry with Zhang Ruo Nan is something to look forward to in the movie. Cute and playful interactions between the leads coupled with raw, emotional scenes are sure to bring you on a rollercoaster ride!
If you are not too concerned about minor spoilers, go ahead and watch the trailer for the movie because trust us, you will need tissues to dab away those tears so why not preempt yourself, right?
My Love will be available at Golden Village cinemas from 6 May 2021 and you can find more information here.
