You know what it's like to shop for Jo Malone fragrances, we have to get up close to read the labels as they're all almost identical in the simple glass bottles.
Well, they've broken this tradition with their new Blossoms fragrances ($145 - $290) which come in colourful bottles with cute spherical caps. The four scents in this collection were made to inspire a daydream that you're on a holiday on some exotic shore and basking in spring sunshine.
- Yellow Hibiscus Cologne: a fresh floral scent with bright sparkling notes of yellow hibiscus, fresh rose, juicy lime and powdery clean white musk.
- Red Hibiscus Cologne Intense: an intense, smooth and sensual scent with Jasmine Sambac and vanilla.
- Frangipani Flower Cologne: a warm and sweet fragrance with airy lightness. Accented by jasmine petals, ylang ylang and fresh lemon, enhanced with creamy sandalwood.
- Nashi Blossom Cologne: a playful, radiant scent with lemon and apple, complemented by rose and cushioned with white musk.

Juicy Couture's newest Viva La Juicy fragrance ($151) is inspired by champagne, hence the "bubbly" in its name and fizzy scent. It has a floral heart of gardenia, jasmine and vanilla orchid, blended with pink berries and mandarin, and wrapped within golden amber, pralines and creamy woods.
The bottle design might be too saccharine for some but we're loving how sweet and over-the-top it is. The pink-overload bottle has a speckled bow, bubbles around the base and a gold tone safety pin with more bubbles on the cap.
#3 Bvlgari Allegra Collection

Inspired by the Italian lifestyle, the new Bvlgari Allegra scents are in bold and colourful candy-shaped glass bottles. There are five fragrances ($263/$375 each) in the Allegra collection:
- Riva Solare: a sparkling citrus fragrance opens with Calabrian bergamot, orange blossoms, Osmanthus and mandarin, intensified with a base of sultry musks.
- Fiori D'Amore: a sensual rose fragrance with Turkish and Bulgarian red roses underscored by modern Prelude Raspberry accords.
- Dolce Estasi: a dreamy floral fragrance that centres on a heliotrope accord and a powdery floral enhanced by Italian citrus, while a final musk accord gives it a smooth finish.
- Rock'n'Rome: a bright and uplifting floral and deep and woody spice at the same time, this fragrance starts with zesty notes, followed by fruity Osmanthus and apricot before tapering off into a sweet benzoin gum.
- Fantasia Veneta: an exuberant scent with Bvlgari-exclusive Indonesian patchouli with a decadent red peach accord and a hint of addictive vanilla scent.

You can customise your own scent by choosing a fragrance and combining it with one of the Magnifying Essences ($300) in bergamot, rose or patchouli. The essences are housed in a smaller and all-white version of the Allegra fragrance bottles.

Another new fragrance by Bvlgari is this limited-edition Rose Goldea fragrance ($245) in collaboration with influential Korean fashion designer, Kathleen Kye. It retains the original scent but with a new look. The bottle design is inspired by Bvlgari's signature Serpenti jewellery design, and bright motifs spreading out symbolises passion, desire and empowerment
The scent is feminine and passionate, with a classic blend of radiant rose and sophisticated musks.

You can't go wrong with a timeless rose perfume like the new Delina La Rosée eau de parfum ($300) by Parfums de Marly. Inspired by young French ladies in the 18th century who soak their handkerchiefs in dew to moisturise their faces, the fresh, velvety fragrance is contained in a beautiful vintage-style frosted pink bottle.
It has a blend of transparent water flowers and peony enveloped by regal notes of Turkish rose. Pear, lychee, and bergamot scents add a gourmand touch while wood, white musk and vetiver grounds the scent.

Just when we thought Marc Jacobs had exhausted all their iterations of Daisy, they brought out a new limited edition version for Spring 2021.
Like all Daisy fragrances, Daisy Spring ($122.71) is fresh and uplifting, and housed in their iconic daisy-topped bottle. It has fruity top notes of cardamom, pink rose at its heart and a feminine rosewood base. This version has a light green bottle with transparent "petals" in green and pink.
There are also two other scents: Daisy Love Spring ($122.71) which has notes of pink poeny and fig milk, and Daisy Eau So Fresh Spring ($142.69) which has green tea blossom, matcha tea and pink pepper notes.
#7 Maison 21G Cashmere Wood

If there's anything more appealing than an ornate bottle, it's your own name! The Parisian haute perfumery house has just launched its new 35th core scent, Cashmere Wood ($95). It can be combined with another scent in a customised bottle where you choose a premade design or your own personalised text like your name.
You can also opt for the Perfume Creation workshop ($150/person) where perfume experts will guide you while you concoct your own perfume.
Cashmere Wood has a subtly distinct flair with sultry tobacco and leathery notes lifted by a mossy woodiness. It works well on its own as well as paired with fresh and sensual scents.
Photo from Anna Sui
Anna Sui's Fantasia Mermaid ($99) was launched a while back in 2019 but has only recently been made available on Sephora Singapore.
We're immediately sold by its looks alone! The whimsical aqua green bottle has an intricate gold cap and mermaid decal with a little seahorse.
The fragrance itself has the same sense of fantasy and dreaminess as the bottle. It opens with fresh blood orange, sweet mandarin, spicy cardamom and pepper, developing into the heart notes of peony and white florals. The aquatic fruitiness of watery litchi fuses with a musky and woody base of vanilla, honey, tonka bean and blood woods.
