Born in 1995, the 26-year-old chef rapidly gained popularity on TikTok in 2019 for his good looks and cute food creations. He now has has a million followers on TikTok and over 90k Instagram followers.

His growing fame led to acting opportunities in the Japanese entertainment industry like cooking-themed TV series Grand Maison Tokyo (グランメゾン東京).

Ikeda's signature is kawaii-style food creations with rice shaped into a character like My Melody, Totoro and Winnie-the-Pooh and covered with an omelette "blanket".
