Good news: Smoko, the company behind all these cute and ingenious lifestyle products, now has their stuff stocked in Singapore so we can bypass the crazy international shipping fees.
Bad news: The boba fridge isn’t readily available in Singapore yet. But fret not, because there are plenty more bubble tea and xiao long bao-themed Smoko products which you can easily purchase at Papermarket at affordable prices.

You can kind of say that Smoko’s original boba character has become an icon of sorts - their bubble tea-themed items are some of the most sought after and you’d recognise them anywhere.

A popular pick is the Pearl Boba Tea Ambient Light ($29.95) which lights up to reveal giant “pearls” within. It’s just as adorable even when not illuminated, and serves as a great bedside table lamp.

Just FYI, we keyed in our details on Smoko’s USA-based online store, and found that shipping to Singapore would cost a hefty USD23.77 (~S$32.46) for just 1 item, with that amount going a couple of dollars higher for every additional item added. Mind you, this number is purely for the shipping alone - without factoring the cost of the item itself.
