It seems like beverage chains are still going strong despite the COVID-19 circuit breaker. We’ve had Xing Fu Tang opening at a neighbourhood kopitiam and KOI opening at Jewel Changi, with famous Thai milk tea chain, ChaTraMue, waiting to open at PLQ.
Perhaps it’s because they’ve managed to keep their businesses afloat through their bubble tea delivery (which you can check out here).
Those living in the West of Singapore now have even more bubble tea options to choose from, with Playmade and Milksha set to open in due time.
Read on to find out more about Playmade and Milksha at Westgate!

Playmade first shot to fame with their unique flavoured pearls, which come in flavours like Purple Sweet Potato, Pink Cactus, and Coconut Gula Melaka. These are all handmade from scratch in-store, and vary on a random rotational basis.

On the other hand, Milksha is best known for their milky drinks, especially the Matcha Milk. All their drinks are free of artificial colouring, preservatives, and chemical additives.

They, too, have flavoured pearls - namely Honey Pearls which are flown in straight from Taiwan.

Both Playmade and Milksha hail from Taiwan, and set up shop in Singapore in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
The official opening dates of these new outlets have yet to be announced - their respective units are still boarded up but already plastered with their logos. Hopefully they will be ready for business after the circuit breaker ends!
