China's Remake Of Singapore's "The Little Nyonya" Reportedly Airing In June 2020
In case you didn't know, it was announced in late 2018 that China will be remaking Singapore's hit drama series, The Little Nyonya.
Fast forward to almost two years later, the good news is that fans of the original version who have been missing the drama will be able to watch the remake soon.

Also titled The Little Nyonya (小娘惹), Chinese reports stated that the long-awaited drama will finally be airing in June 2020. If the reports are true, it won't be long before we get to catch all the drama going down in the Peranakan family.

Taking on the roles previously played by Singaporean actress Jeanette Aw (欧萱), Shane Yan (肖燕) will be playing both Ju Xiang and Yue Niang.

Singaporean actress Xiang Yun (向云) will appear in the remake as a powerful matriarch, a stark difference from the character she played in the original version.
Dai Xiang You (previously known as Dai Yang Tian) will be reprising his role as Yamamoto Yousuke while Jeffrey Xu will be taking on the role previously played by Andie Chen.

China's The Little Nyonya will take up a total of 48 episodes. The drama filming also reportedly took 131 days and was filmed in both China and Malaysia.
