Singaporean actress Xiang Yun (向云) will appear in the remake as a powerful matriarch, a stark difference from the character she played in the original version.

Dai Xiang You (previously known as Dai Yang Tian) will be reprising his role as Yamamoto Yousuke while Jeffrey Xu will be taking on the role previously played by Andie Chen.
