Just like how contouring or applying bronzer to your face will help to frame and make it look more proportionate, contouring your nose will achieve the same effect.

But, everybody's nose shape is different and that calls for different contour and highlight techniques to make it look good.

For those with a button nose

A button nose means it's small with a rounded tip. You will want to make your nose look taller and its tip more slender-looking like the rest of your nose.

How to:
- Contour your nose bridge from your eyebrows till the top part of the tip of your nose
- Contour the tip of your nose by drawing two curved semicircles
- Highlight your nose bridge and the bottom part of the tip of your nose by drawing a small triangle

For those with a flatter nose

If you find that your nose is flat, the main objective of contouring and highlighting is to make it look slimmer and taller.

How to:
- Contour your nose bridge from your eyebrows till the top part of the tip of your nose
- Draw a contour line horizontally over your nose bridge
- Contour the sides of your nostrils to make your nose look smaller
- Highlight your nose bridge and the tip of your nose by drawing a circle as this makes your nose appear taller

For those with a longer nose

Try to make your nose look more proportionate with your face by creating the illusion of a shorter nose. When contouring and highlighting, make sure to keep the lines short rather than long.

How to:
- Contour your nose bridge starting from the inner corner of your eyes
- When you reach the tip of your nose, follow the shape of the tip of your nose
- Highlight your nose bridge but not the tip of your nose

For those with a shorter nose

Just like how you would want make your nose appear shorter if it's long, you would want to make it appear elongated too if you find that your nose looks short. Your nose will look more proportionate to the rest of your face by elongating it.

How to:
- Contour your nose bridge from your eyebrows all the way till your nostrils
- Highlight your nose bridge and tip of the nose in one long line

For those with a slightly slanted nose

If you find that your nose or nose bridge is slightly slanted, fret not! You will want to make it appear straighter by using contour.

How to:
- If your nose is slanted more to the right side, the contour on the right side of your nose should be shorter and vice versa
- Draw a long contour line on the other side
- Highlight your nose bridge
