K-dramas
#1 Witch's Romance (2014)

Fancy watching a drama about an older woman and younger guy's relationship? Witch's Romance is the love story of Ban Ji Yeon, a single 39-year-old woman who is often called a "witch" at work and Yoon Dong Ha, a 25-year-old man who runs a small errand centre with his friend. Sparks fly when Ji Yeon and Dong Ha meet despite their age difference and they find a lot in common with each other, including their scarred hearts.
While younger-woman-older-guy relationships are always portrayed in dramas, it's not as common of a sight to see an older-woman-younger-guy pairing. If you are looking for something with a refreshing plot but is also entertaining, this is the one to watch. It's a light and fluffy romcom that is easy to digest, making it something that would be an enjoyable watch.
#2 She Was Pretty (2015)

As a young girl, Hye Jin was impossibly cute and lived a comfortable life with her wealthy parents. But since her teens, her looks and fortune changed abruptly and is now living with her friend rent-free while working as a part-time clerk at a convenience store. One day, her childhood first love, Sung Joon, contacts her but knowing that he has grown into a handsome and fit man, she quickly hatches a plan to have her pretty friend meet him in her place instead. After luckily landing a full-time job, Hye Jin is surprised to find Sung Joon as her boss.
As cliche as it sounds (but honestly, which drama isn't), this drama is also an easy watch because it's cute, sweet and funny at the same time. Watch this if you need a good laugh to cheer yourself up!
#3 Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016)

The story evolves around an elite group of young men called "Hwarang" who discover their passions, love and friendship in the turmoil of the Silla Kingdom. If you like watching dramas with lots of eye candy to admire, you should try watching this as it has a star-studded cast such as Park Hyung Sik, BTS' V, SHINee's Min Ho and more, aside from Park Seo Joon.
However, be warned that many have given mixed reviews for this drama so watch at your own risk!
#4 Fight For My Way (2017)

Ko Dong Man has always dreamt of becoming a famous taekwondo athlete but now works as a contract employee in a mundane job. His childhood and longtime friend, Choi Ae Ra, aspires to become a news anchor but works at the information desk of a departmental store instead. Their friends, Kim Joo Man and Baek Seol Hee have been dating for six years but face a new threat to their relationship. The drama revolves around the four friends and the pursuit of their dreams despite having "third-rate" qualifications.
Despite having lots of romantic and highly-relatable, funny scenes, this drama will definitely tug on your heartstrings at the same time. Did we talk about the undeniable and sizzling chemistry between the main leads? Paired with the stellar acting of the cast, this is one drama you should watch ASAP if you haven't done so.
#5 What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? (2018)

The series revolves around Lee Young Joon, a narcissistic vice president of a company run by his family. He has a patient and capable secretary, Kim Mi So, who has remained by his side and worked diligently for nine years. However, Mi So decides to focus on herself and resigns from her job, causing hilarious misunderstandings to ensue.
After nine years of their strictly workplace relationship, viewers will be in for a ride witnessing their relationship blossom. The drama was very popular during its run as many people enjoyed watching the lead couple together. There are many comedic moments too that will give you a good laugh. Although it's not a drama with an extremely intricate and detailed plot, it's still something romantic comedy drama lovers will enjoy!
