We Can't Stop Thinking About Gucci's USD$4500 Mickey Mouse Bag
Gucci first revealed these 3D-printed Mickey Mouse bags during its Spring/Summer 2019 runway in October but they are now ready for pre-orders. We have a problem though: they cost a whopping USD$4500.
While these bags are designed exclusively for Mickey Mouse's 90th birthday in 2018, many remarked that they bear a striking resemblance to a classic Mickey Mouse lunch box popular in the '70s.
Besides being 3D-printed from black plastic with enamel details, some key highlights also include a debossed Gucci logo across the handle and a magnetic closure.
The second 3D-printed bag carries a more liberal design with red doodles splashed across the face of the bag and completed with the Fresh term 'mon petit chou', which means 'my cream puff'.
While the bags have been listed under Gucci's Mens section but it is a unisex bag that has been modelled by women as well.
Pre-orders are now opened for these 3D-printed Mickey Mouse bags on gucci.com and shipment is expected to begin from 15 March to 30 April.
