Escape To Seoul Over Lunch At This New Korean-Style Pasta Bar Offering Mains From $19
Tired of your usual pasta and pizza haunts? This one is gonna be different, we promise! Noci Pasta Bar is a bright and spacious new diner located at Suntec City mall (near UNIQLO), serving up mouthwatering pastas, pizzas, sharing plates and desserts. While the dishes are pretty authentically Italian in terms of flavour, the aesthetic is all Korean — in the best way possible!

Once we entered, it felt like we were transported all the way to Seoul, where the aesthetically pleasing cafes and restaurants are on a whole other level. The restaurant has gorgeous interiors, a bunch of minimalistic yet Instagrammable seating areas, flowers at every table, and best of all, floor-to-ceiling windows that let in loads of light.

To start, the Fig Butter Crostini ($13) is a must try for lovers of toast and butter. It actually tasted a lot like a fancier Traditional Kaya Toast. Their Beef Tartare ($23) is both affordably priced and perfectly seasoned — plus, it goes so well with the crusty bread it is served with. In a bid to add some greens for a balanced diet, we also went for the Caesar Salad ($14), which comes with a generous portion of greens and dressing.

For the mains, we recommend trying their signature pastas: the Truffle White Ragu ($27), Tomato Stracciatella ($26), and Ricotta Ravioli ($24). Pro tip: come with an empty belly, because these are dished out in hearty serving sizes! We definitely left feeling fully satisfied.

Not in the mood for pasta? There are also freshly made pizzas on the menu. While the highlights here are the classic Margherita ($21) and gorgeous Salsiccia ($23), we opted for the Quattro Formaggi ($23) — AKA. the four cheese pizza, because we just can't say no to a surplus of cheese whenever, wherever. The verdict? Cheese lovers will not be disappointed in the explosion of cheesy flavour you get with every bite of this tasty creation.

To round off the meal, the Tiramisu ($12) is absolutely unmissable. Let it be known that this was actually my favourite dish from Noci, because even though the mains are delicious, this dessert is just so rich and creamy (without tasting too sweet or heavy at any point) that it leaves me no choice but to return again!

Pair your food with a selection of coffees, teas, soda and other drinks — we picked the refreshing Sparkling Yuzu ($7) and perfectly balanced Iced Chocolate Latte ($7).
