In the trailer, Snow White (Zegler) escapes into the woods from her evil stepmother, played by Gadot. There, she meets the seven dwarfs—Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy—who offer her protection. But Snow White doesn’t just want safety; she’s on a mission.

“The Queen stole everything from all of us. I’m going to need your help. It’s time to restore our Kingdom,” She says to her new friends in their cosy cottage.

We also get a first listen to Zegler’s powerful ballad, Waiting on a Wish. Later in the trailer, Snow White faces off against the Evil Queen in disguise as an old woman, offering her the infamous poisoned apple.

Produced by Wicked creators Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, and directed by Marc Webb, Snow White is a fresh take on Disney’s 1937 animated classic. With new songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (known for The Greatest Showman), the movie is one of Disney’s biggest releases for 2025.

Originally scheduled for release in March 2024, the movie’s premiere was delayed to 21 March 2025, due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
