Raffles City has undergone quite the facelift this past year, seeing a revamped beauty zone and trendy fashion arrivals like & Other Stories and LUMINE. It's F&B scene is also getting some new blood and one of the latest ones is Wo Wo Dian. Founded in 1889 in Mianyang, China, this steamed bun and rice noodle concept is known for Chinese-style dishes and steamed buns. It has set up shop at Raffles City and is celebrating the opening with free strawberry buns for kids from now till 8 September 2024. The restaurant is also offering weekday tea time specials on selected dishes, desserts and drinks.

Right in time for the September school holidays, this sweet promotion for dine-in customers lets kids under 12 years old enjoy a complimentary basket of Strawberry Buns with a minimum spend of $25, excluding GST and service charge.
Each basket comes with a piping hot trio of soft, fluffy buns in a pretty pink and shaped like strawberries. The buns are filled with a strawberry-flavoured custard that's sure to be a hit among the kiddos and those with a sweet tooth.

Sichuan Tea Time Specials
During tea time on Mondays to Thursdays, from 2.30 to 5.30pm, Wo Wo Dian will have a special discounted menu.
A must-try is the Handmade Buns at just $1.90++ for three buns in different flavours. That means each bun costs only about $0.70! These well-loved steamed buns are made using the laomian AKA tradition al sourdough technique which calls for blending organic flour with starter that has fermented. This gives it a unique flavour and texture. The flavours include Century-old Traditional Pork Bun, Sauced Pork Bun and Sauerkraut Vermicelli Bun.

There will also be 25% off selected dishes. For savouries, there's a choice of Golden Crispy Pork Strips, Szechuan Shredded Chicken Noodles, and Yin & Yang Cold Noodles. Make space for the refreshing desserts too like Three Delicacies Iced Jelly and the exquisitely presented Poached Pear in Rice Wine.
