If you're part of the latter group and can't wait to enjoy some deliciously pungent fruit, rope in your fellow durian lovers and make a date at Goodwood Park Hotel for this year's Durian Fiesta ASAP.

Guests can expect to feast on all-time favourite treats like the signature D24 Mousse Cake and Durian Ice Cream, as well as adventurous creations like the new Durianyaki (a cross between takoyaki and durian) and surprisingly delicious Durian Sourdough Pizza.
Here's a roundup of our favourite treats from the durian-filled lineup:
D24 Sourdough Pizza with Spicy Chorizo & Mozzarella

Okay, we can sense all the raised eyebrows. The mixture of sweet durian and traditionally savoury pizza does not necessarily sound like a good combination, especially with spicy chorizo and mozzarella cheese tossed in. But we're happy to report that it tastes surprisingly yummy, with a well-balanced flavour that has us craving more.
D24 Ice Cream Chendol Croffle

Love to DIY your desserts? Head over to the Ice Cream Chendol Croffle live station, where you can customise your very own durian-croffle creation! The chef stationed there will hand over a freshly prepared croffle, which you're free to add chendol toppings to, including red bean paste, green grass jelly, gula melaka syrup and more, according to your preferences!
Aside from being fun to construct (and then deconstruct as you eat it), it's also an extremely aesthetically pleasing dessert that's worth a spot among your Instagram Stories or Feed.
Mini D24 Pengat in Green Tea Cone with Chicken Floss

This was hands-down my favourite item on the entire durian-centric menu. Not only did the flavour of the rich durian pengat pair marvellously with the sprinkle of chicken floss, its cone was a crispy and fragrant masterpiece with its hint of green tea and appealing green colour. Yum! An 11/10 dessert.
D24 Puff

If you're looking for a literal explosion of durian, this puff will do just the trick. These pastries don't look very large, but trust me — they're filled to the brim and bursting at the seams with all that thick, gooey, durian goodness.
D24 Dark Chocolate Crémeux

The Dark Chocolate Crémeux is another standout item, especially for those who can't resist chocolate. Sandwiched between two layers of chocolate pastry is a thick, perfectly piped layer of durian mousse, which melds together to create a harmony of flavours. It's also worth noting that the crémeux does not taste too sweet, thanks to the dark chocolate!
D24 Mousse Cake

If there's one cake you absolutely must have at the buffet, it will be this one. After just one bite, we totally understand its longtime popularity (this signature cake has been around since 1983). Velvety smooth yet not too cloying on the tongue, this melt-in-your-mouth confection is another must-try on the menu.
The Dessert Buffet with Exclusive Durian Delights at Coffee Lounge is priced at $65 per adult and $39 per child. Seatings are from Fridays to Sundays.
