Unique baked goods have been all the rage lately, between Bakery 1946's viral apple-shaped buns and the French Crookies which are completely dominating the internet. Well, get your bellies (and wallets) ready, because yet another trendy snack has hit our shores, this time in the form of humble apple pies.

Famous South Korean bakery Sagwadang now has a pop-up store at Bugis Junction, where you can get your hands on their signature apple pies. Shaped like crescent moons, the exterior of these small pastries are light and flaky, reminding us of curry and chicken puffs.

You can pick from three bestselling variations: Original Apple Pie ($4.90), Vanilla Apple Pie ($5.40), and Milk Cream Apple Pie ($5.40), or just take home one of each! Alternatively, mix-and-match the pies to make your own 6-piece box for sharing.

In case you're confused about the fillings, the Original pie showcases the natural sweetness of the Yesan apples and spices best. But those who prefer thicker and creamier fillings can totally go for the fragrant Vanilla cream filling. Not to be confused with the Milk Cream option, which uses fresh milk cream for a lighter consistency.
Thinking about heading down to grab some of your own? The pop-up will be available at Bugis Junction until 7 April, so make sure to drop by ASAP!
