Golden Village x The Projector Is Opening At Cineleisure This December
Love The Projector's hipster cred and the convenience and familiarity of Golden Village? You can now enjoy the best of both worlds at GV x TP, AKA Golden Village x The Projector cinema at Cineleisure. This epic collaboration between the two leaders of Singapore's movie industry will now offer GV's signature blend of blockbuster movies and TP's diverse array of international film festivals, live events, and independent films, all under one roof.

Opening on 2 December, GV x TP will have six halls, with three programmed and ticketed by GV and the other three by TP. The new space has over 1,400 seats located on Level 5 and 6 of Cineleisure. The Projector's three halls - Majestic, Yangtze and Roxy - are named after defunct local cinemas as a tribute to local cinema heritage.

No movie experience is complete without cinema snacks, and the snack experience here is as artsy as expected. Grab your grub from the No Spoilers Bar, a full bar offering popcorn, nachos, gourmet hotdogs, grilled sandwiches and pizza. It will also have an eight tap draft beer machine and will double up as a live music venue on Fridays and Saturdays from 10.30pm till late.

Craving something more substantial? Head to No Spoilers Dining, a 44-seater restaurant serving contemporary Southeast Asian cuisine. Expect dishes such as Kacang Pool served with Sourdough toast, Salted Egg Brussels Sprouts and Rendang Braised Beef Short Ribs.

The cinema will also be home to two sprawling event spaces complete with nostalgic decor. Named after the hotel room in the classic 1980 movie The Shining, Room 237 is an enclosed flexible event space that has six digital screens that may be used for digital art or small venue rentals of up to 50 people. For a larger group, opt for Ruby Lounge on Level 6, a corner unit with high ceilings and city views.

As part of the opening celebration, the first 200 movie ticket holders on 2 December will be treated to free popcorn with every ticket purchased. From 3 December to 8 December 2023, GV movie-goers will be able to redeem a Free GV Movie Pass with every four or more GV tickets purchased.
From 11 to 13 December 2023 and 18 to 20 December, GV will be offering $3 movie screenings for selected titles including Barbie, Disney And Pixar's Elemental, and Disney's Haunted Mansion.
