Queuing up is pretty much a national pastime for Singaporeans, but waiting for food at any popular restaurant can still be pretty brutal. Not only do you have to deal with feeling increasingly hangry, sometimes the boredom of having nothing much to do makes it even more unbearable — unless it's Haidilao we're talking about!

Adding to the myriad complimentary activities that their diners can enjoy while waiting in line (including folding paper stars, getting a manicure etc.), the hotpot chain has recently introduced a jewellery-making station to their outlet at Clarke Quay. These come equipped with all the materials you'll need to create charm bracelets, such as string and beads.

There is a seriously wide variety of bead styles and charms, with a total of 50 colours to choose from. With so much room for personalisation, this also means the end product is more likely to be a welcome addition to your accessories drawer than just random clutter in your house. Hurray! It's also a great activity for friends and groups since you can easily create bracelets to match with your besties.
