Guerlain Has Partnered With Nesuto To Launch A Pop-Up Café In Singapore At ION Orchard

Guerlain has an indulgent surprise for gourmands this holiday season! For the first time, the fashion house has launched their very own Guerlain Café in Singapore at ION Orchard. Created in partnership with Nesuto, the opulent pop-up cafe offers an immersive experience with bespoke services and exclusive menu items.

As expected of Guerlain, the cafe interior aesthetic is exceptional, combining luxurious design elements to create a sensorial ambiance.

This visual feast continues with every little detail from the packaging design to the presentation of the exclusive Guerlain-inspired creations.

Exclusive Guerlain-Inspired Desserts

The menu features five new creations, all of which are inspired by Guerlain's well-loved products or its timeless and elegant design ethos.

First is the stunning Peach Gateaux de Voyage, an odyssey-inspired vanilla cake baked with peach compote bits and a coat of white chocolate and almonds. The finishing touch is vanilla bean and a speck of edible gold leaf. Nesuto's rendition of the classic pound cake, these delicious morsels are rich in flavour yet light and moist in texture. Enjoy them by the slice for $8.10 each or get the whole loaf for $49.

Next is a collection of four whimsical-looking Bonbons ($3.85/piece or $15.40 for a set of 4) in festive flavours, including the Brown Butter Honey Walnut Bonbon which is inspired by Guerlain's iconic bee emblem.

There will also be three beautifully crafted entremets.

Reminiscent of Guerlain's Orange Soleia Eau de Toilette, the Aged Narcissus Tea is almost too pretty to eat. It's made of aged narcissus tea mousse encasing layers of blood orange compote and blood orange cremeux. At its base is a thin crisp buttery smoked sable cookie, and topping it off is blood orange gelee and Mexican tarragon flower. The delicate tea aroma balances wonderfully with the refreshing citrus flavours. If you're a tea lover, this is the one to try.

Probably the most festive-tasting of the lot is the Apricot Walnut ($13.80), which incorporates the nostalgic taste of Christmas fruitcakes and cookies. It has light apricot fruit mousse containing home-made walnut nougatine and apricot vanilla cremeux. Adding a hint of spice is the cinnamon sable cookie, and decorating it is a rosewater scented veil speckled with gold leaves.

Finally is the Chocolate Hazelnut inspired by Guerlain's simplicity weaved with intricate natural elements. The hazelnut chocolate tart is crowned with 85% Abinao dark chocolate mousse containing a rich and velvety hazelnut cremeux. It's finished with a dark chocolate glaze and cacao nibs. This entremet is as indulgent as it looks and has the perfect intensity of dark chocolate that'll please every palate.

Guerlain Pop-Up Store

Launched along with the Guerlain x Nesuto Cafe is a pop-up store showcasing Guerlain's gorgeous Holiday Collection including The Hive Of Wonders Advent Calendar exclusive to this pop-up.

Guerlain's annual Christmas collaboration is always an impressive affair, and this year is no exception. For this festive season characterised by wonder, Guerlain has partnered with Turkish jeweller Begüm Khan to two Exceptional Pieces enhancing the iconic Bee Bottle, five perfume personalisation plates and a jewel case set with gems for the Rouge G lipsticks - all designed with whimsical and extravagant animal-inspired details.
