Nestled on the third storey of a Trengganu Street shophouse, this new spot has all the mystery of a hidden bar and the convenience of being located just around the corner from Chinatown MRT. Look out for their subtle signboard on the first floor, which should point you in the right direction towards the cafe and bar.

To shield its secrets from prying muggle eyes, the bar's entrance is guarded by playfully drawn graffiti spells — and a curious eyeball in the doorbell. Press the button to announce your presence and the eyeball will light up!

Any witch or wizard worth their salt knows that it is what's inside that count — and The Wizard's Brew has got the most stunning interiors around! A waiting area near the entrance resembles the den of some particularly fancy death eaters, complete with a cobwebbed chandelier. You'll then be shown through a passage decorated with colour-changing fog before arriving at the cavernous bar area.

It's a struggle deciding where to sit: by the roaring fireplace with the stag's head trophy, or next to the shelves of magical books and artefacts? Whichever you end up choosing, we can bet your social media post will come out on top of the class.
Tapas

We sat down to try some of the otherworldly concoctions served here, and the Tater Tots with Cheese Dip ($11) which was served in a little black cauldron is absolutely perfect as light and savoury bar bites to pair with drinks. There are also other tapas options like the Golden Crispy Nuggets ($11), Chicken Karaage ($12), and Cheesy Meatballs ($13) for those feeling peckish.
Desserts

Got a sweet tooth to satisfy? The Wizard's Invitation ($17) has creamy vanilla ice cream folded in a thin milk crepe. Decorated with fresh fruit and special orange sauce served with liquor on the side, the plate is torched upon service, so you can witness the otherworldly blue flames for yourself before tucking in! Other dessert options include the Witches Hat ($19), a milk chocolate mousse, and the Flaming Cauldron ($16), which consists of warm charcoal tapioca served with mango passion cream.
Drinks

The Wizard's Brew has a pretty wide range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and the aptly named Phoenix Fire ($22) takes the cake. Made with orange juice, lime juice, grenadine, and rum, this cocktail erupts in a marvellous flame display when it is being prepared, so make sure to have your camera on standby!
Another notable drink to try is Fungi Nectar ($22), which contains orange and lime juice, triple sec and tequila. You might also want to try the Potion Of The Cosmos ($22), a fun specialty drink made up of red orange, soda water and vodka.
