New Sanrio Blind Boxes Feature Hello Kitty & Friends “Kiapped” In Miniature Claw Machines, Now In Singapore
Nothing beats the exhilaration of snagging an unexpected win at a claw machine, and Sanrio has immortalised this feeling of joy with their new series of blind boxes. The Sanrio Claw Machine Blind Boxes, as their name suggests, feature your favorite characters as little toys “kiapped” in mini Japanese-style crane machine.
You won’t be able to find them at POP MART or The Green Party, but we discovered a lesser-known shop in Singapore where you can purchase them - and it’s not a random online seller from Shopee and the like. Read on to find out!

These Sanrio Claw Machine Blind Boxes come in a total of 6 designs: Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Bad Badtz-Maru, Pompompurin, and My Melody - all the beloved favourites.

Unlike real-life claw machines that are usually rectangular in shape, these miniature versions have a round bubble-like appearance for a cuter look. They even come with details like mini joysticks and buttons! Although these are immovable, they’re a realistic-looking touch all the same.

Instead of simply being placed within the clear globes, the Sanrio character figurines are actually clasped in the machine’s claw crane, and dangling in mid-catch. In fact, some of the characters are hanging sideways or even upside down, making for a very realistic representation of the actual thing!

A single Sanrio Claw Machine Blind Box with a surprise figurine costs $15.90, while a full case of six with no repeats costs $95.40. Get them from Happibox at Lucky Plaza or Sim Lim, or via their online store here.
