7 New Perfumes In Singapore To Gift For Mother's Day 2023: Jo Malone London, Aesop, Kenzo & More
Mums may only have that one day a year to celebrate Mother's Day, but the right gift can remind her of that pampering moment all year round, and what better gift than a fragrance? It's no doubt luxurious, and scent is known to serve as a powerful tie to memories and emotions.
Whether your mum likes sweet florals, fresh and clean scents, or something edgier, our round-up of seven new perfume launches in Singapore will have you covered for this year's Mother's Day.
#1 Jo Malone London Sakura Cherry Blossom

No one does special edition fragrances quite like Jo Malone London, and their new sakura collection proves it.
Best described as the scent of Spring in a bottle, the fragrance has a delicate composition of cherry blossom and rose brightened with sparkling bergamot.
The collection includes a Sakura Cherry Blossom Cologne (100ml: $245, 30ml: $122) and a Sakura Cherry Blossom Hair Mist (30ml: $90). It is available online at jomalone.com.sg.
#2 Kenzo La Collection Memori

Kenzo's best known perfume might be Flower by Kenzo, the sweet scent in the iconic slender bottle with a red poppy, but the house has gone in a fresh new direction with their latest fragrance line La Collection Memori.
Each of the seven scents - Ciel Magnolia, Rêve Lotus, Coeur Azuki, Poudre Matcha, Soleil Thé, Nuit Tatami, Cèdre Secret - is housed in a minimalist sake flask-inspired bottle with a cap resembling the stones of Zen gardens.
The notes were inspired by the happy days of the House's founder, Kenzō's childhood; like poetic madeleines and moments spent in the Kenzo Parfums tea house.
In line with Kenzo Parfum's efforts towards sustainability, the bottle is made with 15% recycled glass, and the packaging also utilises an optimised outerpack made of FSC certified paper mimicking the look of a tatami mat.
The fragrances are priced from $160 each and are now exclusively available at Metro Paragon Spring Floral Fair at Metro Paragon Atrium.
#3 Marc Jacob Fragrances Perfect Eau De Toilette

A fresh and bright interpretation of the original floral scent, the EDT reimagines a white bouquet with an unexpected twist of pink peppercorn and polygonum notes for a luminous and clean scent.
The whimsical bottle has domed shoulders and a gilded collar leading up to a crystal-cut cap crowned with an eclectic assortment of mis-matched charms that play with different colours, transparency and texture.
P.S. there's a pop-up for this fragrance at Plaza Singapura till 3 May where visitors can get complimentary temporary tattoos and more.
#4 Anna Sui Sundae

Anna Sui always knocks our socks off with their pretty perfume bottle designs but they have outdone themselves with the new Sundae collection.
The fragrances come in a matte, frosted glass finish with decorative topping detailing for a rebound effect. The literal cherry on top of the bottle is is the spray-through cherry-shaped pump. They are also packaged in boxes that look like ice cream pints!
Designed to capture the joy and refreshing feeling of eating cold ice cream on a summer day, these delicious scents are served up in three varieties:

#5 Aesop Gloam Eau de Parfum

The fifth instalment of Aesop's Othertopias fragrance line, Gloam Eau de Parfum has an enchanting combination of florals, spice and a bed of wooded depths that's potent yet calming.
It opens with Pink Pepper and Cardamom softened by the fresh florals of Neroli and sweet Orange Flower. This is followed by aromatic spice notes of Saffron and Clove, herbal Maté, and warm florals Narcissus, Mimosa, Rose and Jasmine Sambac. At its base is a powdery and comforting blend of Iris, Patchouli, Copaiba and Sandalwood.
Gloam Eau de Parfum (50ml) is available at Aesop stores and aesop.com for $255.
#6 Paco Rabanne FAME Blooming Pink Eau De Parfum

Paco Rabanne just revealed its new collector's edition, FAME Blooming Pink. The bottle is dressed in the same chainmail effect as the original FAME, but in sparkling pink glitter instead.
Scent wise, the fragrance features a new mix of notes including mango, jasmine, incense, vanilla and sandalwood.
It will be available at BHG Bugis, Metro Paragon, Metro Causeway Point, TANGS at Tang Plaza, TANGS at VivoCity, Takashimaya D.S, selected Sephora stores and sephora.sg.
#7 Bulgari Parfums Rose Goldea Blossom Delight Hair Mist

The maison's signature Rose Goldea Blossom Delight now returns as a new delicate hair mist.
To be sprayed directly on the hair from a small distance, it creates a delicate yet enveloping floral veil that's modern yet soft, fresh and sparkling.
The hair mist is available in a 30ml bottle at BVLGARI stores, Takashimaya and takashimaya.com.sg for $73.
