Pastel-Themed HDB In Choa Chu Kang Has Pink Bathroom With Bathtub, Walk-In Closet, & Aesthetic Kitchen
Those who grew up watching Disney’s classics would probably still remember that one scene in Sleeping Beauty, where fairy godmothers Flora and Merryweather were squabbling over pink versus blue for Aurora’s dress. And if you’ve found yourself in a similar situation with your partner regarding the decor your new home, check out this pastel-themed HDB flat in Singapore that strikes a fair middle ground with both colours.

Located in the West at Choa Chu Kang, this pastel HDB flat in Singapore has two main accent colours - pink and blue - set against neutrals. The living room has two feature walls in each of these pastel colours, serving to mark out and separate the living and dining areas without creating actual partitions.

The kitchen is similarly decorated, with the cupboards in powder blue and part of the walls in pink.

One thing we love about this HDB flat is that there are “his” and “hers” bathrooms in blue and pink respectively. The pink one has a two-tone design, with the bottom tiles in clean white to match the bathtub and toilet bowl.

Wait, a bathtub? In a HDB? Yup, this HDB toilet comes with its own standalone tub. It is possible - check out our article on aesthetically-pleasing bathtubs specially for small HDB bathrooms which can be installed without any hacking or re-tiling!

The other bathroom is in a refreshing blue shade, with solid coloured tiles for the shower area and muted geometric tiles for the bottom half of the other walls.

Despite most of the house looking cheery and colourful, the bedroom has been kept to shades of white, grey, and brown for a more relaxing feel. Right near the entrance is a walk-in wardrobe and a vanity area, neatly packed into this compact space.
