There’s A Hanfu Sale This Weekend, Get Gorgeous Traditional Outfits From $30 Incl. Disney-Inspired Designs
Since they’re all intricately embroidered, have multiple elaborate components, and often have to be imported, hanfus tend to be on the pricey side, even if you’re shopping for them on Taobao. That’s why you’d want to hop on this rare chance to get some solid steals at hanfu studio Menghui’s clearance sale, with complete sets of this traditional Chinese outfit going at heavily-slashed prices from just $30.

If the name 梦回 (Menghui) / Another Day sounds familiar to you, that’s because they’re the same cultural appreciation studio that’s behind Singapore’s first and only hanfu high tea experience - where patrons get to be dolled up like ancient Chinese princesses, snap photos in a themed studio complete with props like fans, and nibbling on a premium afternoon tea set at a heritage teahouse.
They’re currently clearing out their old hanfus to make space for new designs, and what they’re selling at a loss is your gain! Granted, it’s not everyday that you get the chance to wear a hanfu - which might have you questioning why you’d even need one, as beautiful as they might be - but it’s also not everyday that you get to snag one at such an unbelievable deal of just $30 onwards.

Menghui has multiple racks of hanfus in their inventory, in various styles spanning across different dynasties from Tang to Song and Ming. If you’re lucky, you might be able to get your hands on their highly popular Disney co-branded ones that are inspired by Snow White! There are designs for men and children too, so you can all dress up together and have a couple/family photoshoot.

This hanfu sale will be happening for one weekend only, from 11th to 12th February 2023 at their Chinatown studio. Of course these hanfus are all pre-loved and have been worn by patrons for their shoots, but they’re all washed and still in good condition. Interested parties can send Menghui a DM via Instagram to make an appointment to browse.

On that note, Menghui’s hanfu afternoon tea experience is still ongoing, so don’t miss the chance to make an appointment while you still can! A photographer isn’t included so you’ll have to bring your own camera, but you can also opt for a professional photography package or hire your own photog.
