Jurong Bird Park Is Offering $10 Entry Tickets To Enjoy A Carnival, Traditional Hawker Fare & Nostalgic Tour
For most Singaporeans, Jurong Bird Park holds sentimental value since this aviary has been a popular destination for school excursions, family outings and probably even first dates. Alas, it’s time to say goodbye to Singapore’s oldest wildlife park, for it is relocating from its home of over 50 years in Jurong Hill to a brand-new Bird Paradise in Mandai Wildlife Reserve next year.

In line with this, the park has put together a slew of activities from 19 November 2022 till 3 January 2023 to relive good old memories and create new ones before this place shuts for good. The best part? Entry tickets cost just $10 for all local residents with a valid WildPass during this period, so you can have one last hurrah at less than half the standard cost of tickets!
Celebration Caw-nival

Spread across the Penguin Coast and Birdz of Play zones is an exhilarating carnival with classic rides and game booths such as Roll-a-Ball, Hit-a-Target and Tea Cup Carousel. You’ll need to get a Caw-nival Fun Card with a minimum $15 to take part in the activities.

Nostalgic Signature Tour

Feel like splashing cash? Consider signing up for the Nostalgic Signature Tour, which, as its name suggests, will bring you on a nostalgic journey around Jurong’s avian residence. For $400, you can hop on board a private buggy with six other people (that’s $57 per person) to explore the park and learn about its architecture, and have intimate encounters with various feathered inhabitants.

Kampung Jurong

All this emotional high is sure to leave you feeling hungry, so make sure to head down to Flamingo Lodge, which has been transformed into Kampung Jurong, to indulge in traditional hawker dishes. The pushcarts are even decorated in 1970s style to commemorate the park’s opening era!
