There is a cookie cutter for the definition of beauty and if we don't fall under it, we are out of it.
Celebrities on the big screen or those making a public appearance are always powdered in layers of makeup. They always seem to look so perfect... with no flaws or defects... so this is probably why we tend to forget that they are human too; that they too, have freckles.

In most cultures, beauty is often defined as having clear, bright and porcelain-like skin. Anyone with freckles would be deemed 'ugly' but.... times are changing.
