The brainchild of homegrown bakery Polar Puffs & Cakes, this special creation resembles an oversized glass of iced Milo. An ode to one of Singaporeans’ favourite beverages, the cake is topped with ice cubes in the form of jelly, butter cream, and a decadent layer of Milo jelly.

Inside, the rich cake has layers of Milo buttercream, chocolate sponge, Milo cheese, and a crunchy cookie base. Expect plenty of chocolate and malt flavours that will whisk you right back to your childhood days.

Aside from the Milo Peng Cake ($39), the bakery is also celebrating Singapore’s 57th birthday with the Pandan Kaya Tart ($1.60), which features a flaky crust filled with smooth pandan custard and kaya.

For something savoury, there’s the Chicken Rendang Puff ($3.20), which has marinated chicken leg meat encased in the bakery’s signature puff pastry. Expect full-bodied flavours of lemongrass, ginger, and rendang spices.
