DMK’s Newest Collection Of Shoes Has Fun Pastel Shades, Tweed Details, Braided Textures & More
Ladies’ footwear brand DMK Singapore is one of our go-tos for their comfy, versatile shoes that come in a variety of styles. For their newest Summer 2022 launch, the homegrown label has busted out a fun Y2K Colour Pop collection. Inspired by the pop culture and fashion trends of the early 2000’s, this range of footwear celebrates bold self-expression and the carefree feeling of youthfulness.

Bright colours are a defining aspect of the Y2K fashion style, but instead of going all in-your-face with saturated neon tones, this collection tones things down to spectrum of pastels - thus keeping that fun and vibrant quality while balancing it out with better wearability.

This includes a good dose of pink, as seen in the sharp yet cute academia-inspired Never Say Never Platform Loafers ($49.90). It’s also available in Black and Chalk White.

Tweed is in, and there are plenty of pieces in this collection that incorporate that - for example, the relaxed Magic Happens Sports Sandals ($39.90) in a coral shade, the blue Dream Big Platform Sandals ($34.90), and the elegant Made With Love Heel Pumps ($43.90) which bring to mind Parisian vibes.

More textural interest comes in the form of a ribbed toe strap with the Enjoy Life Heel Sandals ($49.90), pictured above in Nude. These delicate kitten heels have a manageable height for pain-free walking, and are also available in Yellow and Black, .
The Ready To Bloom Mule Heel Sandals ($49.90), pictured below in Lilac are another pair that come with unique touch. Though it doesn't come with any heel straps, the thick front strap with cute bubble-like braid patterns offers good sturdiness. You can get this in Taupe and Beige as well.

Got a fresh new pedicure? Show it off with the Rise And Shine Transparent Heel Sandals ($46.90). Our favourite is the one with a Purple inner sole, though there are also Nude and Black options, the latter of which comes with a preppy checkered pattern.

It isn’t just footwear in DMK’s Y2K Colour Pop collection - there’s also a selection of chic handbags. We especially like the Level Up Sling Bag ($49.90) - available in Black, Pink, Blue, and Beige - which has an extra luxurious appearance with its quilted design and gold chain strap.
