Cloud & Victory: Homegrown Dancewear Brand With Pretty Leotards, Tongue-In-Cheek Tees & Gym Bags
If you’ve ever been enrolled in ballet classes during your childhood days, you might remember donning the classic all-pink leotard and tights. As adults, the great news is that you have a lot more fun outfit choices no matter what sort of fitness activity you’re into.

Meet Cloud & Victory, an ethical dancewear and ballet brand based in Singapore, known for their pretty leotards and tongue-in-cheek tees. A small business run by Min, an adult ballet beginner, C&V makes clothing that’s eco-friendly, performance-driven, and beautiful.

Even if you’re not a dancer, their clothing easily caters to yoga, barre, aerial arts, and even gym-based fitness.

The brand’s latest leotard collection includes the Psyche Leotard (S$107), which has an intricate floral landscape across the chest; the Antheia Leotard (S$107), a feminine design with a flattering back cutout in contrasting black tulle; as well as the Dream Petal Leotard (S$107), a supportive camisole design with petal prints that blossom in shades of lilac and lavender. Animal lovers will also appreciate leotard designs featuring cats and alpacas.

To complement the leotards, they’ve got delicate wrap skirts in French lace and tulle, which are designed to add extra movement when you dance. Legwarmers in pastel ombre hues are also available to keep you warm before class starts.

Busy bees who no longer have time for classes can pay homage to their love for dance with versatile tees, which feature tongue-in-cheek and punny phrases like Chaîné (in place of Chanel), “You Can’t Plié-se Everyone”, and “Everything Will Turnout Okay.”

My favourite is the Assemblé Tee (S$71), which features an illustrated graphic print of Avengers superheroes like Iron Man and Captain America dancing ballet. Ladies looking for a breezy piece that will bring them from studio to brunch can check out the Reversible Ballet Romper, which can be easily worn over their leotard or sports bra.

Some of the more popular pieces include the now sold-out sweater with the words “Will Plié For Pizza”—a fun design to keep you warm at work or play.

Those eyeing a spacious gym bag will appreciate The Emotional Baggage bag (S$135), which has a ton of useful compartments like a shoe pocket, a hidden inner pocket, as well as a wet-dry pouch to isolate sweaty activewear. A backpack version in blush pink is also available, with 13 pockets to keep things handy when travelling from place to place.
