Like many fitness influencers, Suji documented her weight loss journey on her Instagram and revealed the top secret behind her weight loss: indulging in this 5 foods and working out.

#1 Salmon

Like many others, salmon (especially sashimi) is one of Suji's favourite foods! It's known to be a great source of protein that's also rich in Omega-3 fatty acids~ Some of the health benefits salmon has include helping us keep our blood sugar level in place, break down fats and most importantly, help us girls lose excess weight (especially in the lower part of our bodies)!

Best part? They are so damn yummy. Sashimi lovers would surely devour the entire bowl in seconds. For those who don't fancy raw food, who says you can't enjoy salmon another way? Grill it or cook it... it's all good. Eat first and thank us later!

#2 Wholemeal Bread

Bread plays a big part of our lives. Growing up Asian (especially in Singapore), most of us here probably ate all kaya toasts with eggs for breakfast! But in case you have been living under the rock, (white) bread is also known to be a calorie machine.

But if you want to lose that excess weight, you got to say goodbye to white bread.

To get to her ideal weight, Suji ditched white bread and consumed pure wholemeal bread. Unlike white bread, wholemeal bread contains all the goodness of wheat grains and is richer in fibre, protein and vitamins.

#3 Avocado

They say avocado (esp avocado toasts) is a 'millennial thing' but no, it's a thing for the ones who love their bodies!

Avocado contains a natural compound called carnitine that helps the body to increase its metabolism. Of course, we all know that a higher metabolism can help our bodies burn more fats even when we are at rest. Good news is that.... they are yummy!

In the midst of your diet, you might be deprived of some yummy foods and drinks (like bubble tea) but fret not, you can always opt for fruit juice!
