Ah, the traditional Taiwanese sun cake, aka tai yang bing. According to Red Sakura, theirs are carefully handcrafted with a special method that prevents the crust from breaking easily, yet retains the flaky texture that we so love. Other than the kawaii packaging, this gift box set comes with a free plate that has the same festive design shown on the box!

These Red Sakura Hello Kitty Chinese New Year goodies were spotted at Prime supermarket, specifically the Century Square branch at Tampines. We dropped by one of the outlets at Yishun and didn’t find any, so they’re likely only stocked at selected locations. Let us know in the comments if you happen to spot any elsewhere!
