Singapore’s First Hot Air Balloon Experience Now Open At Marina Bay For Romantic Rides Over The City
Cruising over the Cappadocia’s fairy chimney rocks on a romantic hot air balloon ride is probably every wanderlusting couple’s dream - and a dream it remains for many, for a trip to Turkey is a luxury not everyone can afford. But closer to home, you can soon gain a similar experience sans flight tickets, for Singapore’s first-ever hot air balloon rides are now open at Marina Bay.

Operated by Ballons Du Monde, this new hot air balloon experience in Singapore at the Bayfront Event Space is truly the real deal. You’ll be hopping into a little basket carrier, before a burner with actual flames is used to inflate your colourful balloon and propel it up, up, and away - between 25m to 30m depending on the wind and weather.
Some of you might remember the old DHL Balloon from a decade ago, but that was actually helium-powered.

The 50-minute experience entails an introduction to ballooning, a 5- to 7-minute flight, and a celebratory toast with a non-alcoholic drink once you disembark.

Though the sights will be a far cry from Cappadocia’s whimsical, spindled rock formations over vast fields, the gazing upon our well-planned cityscape from a bird’s-eye view will be quite something too - especially at night when the sky scrapers and iconic landmarks come alive with their twinkling lights.
Those watching from below will be treated to free views of the multicoloured orbs dotting the sky too!

According to Ballons Du Monde’s Instagram page, the team has undergone training and extensive testing to ensure a safe experience for all.
Do note that passengers must be at least 130cm tall so that they can see over the basket. Children shorter than 130cm can still attend, provided they are accompanied by an adult and don't mind seeing through the basket's foot holes. Ladies,
