Only known by their pen name 咻咻熊 xiuxiubear, the Taiwanese artist created a love story about a bear and a girl in 2013, illustrating their simple everyday moments like grocery shopping.

And before you say anything or give them the side eye, everyone was perfectly fine with Belle and the Beast! Also, we're certain the bear is a representation of a big, huggable bear-like boy.

Their relatable and wholesome couple moments, coupled with xiuxiubear's charming and soothing illustration style, is designed to bring back happy memories. This evidently works as what started as two characters has become a business with themed merchandise and an Instagram account with over 70,000 followers.
