I have very warm feelings to the GEARS of War series, the game throughout its existence remained true to its roots and received uniform development of its ideas. The characters received their logical and systematic development from each part, depth was added to them, but never overdo it with this.
Well, one cannot help but remember that this was the game of Cliff Blazhinsky, thanks to which he got his worldwide recognition and now, unfortunately, quietly Cliffi Bi goes into oblivion as a result of the release of unsuccessful Lawbreakers and Radical Heights.

But let's not talk about sad, back at the time when the grass was greener, and the locust was the size of a person.

It is worth immediately making a reservation that I will only tell you about a single campaign, I will not cover the multiplayer aspects.

And we will start with the plot. The plot in the game, although it is seriously seriously served, is done absolutely everything on such serious faces that you yourself begin to frown. But unlike the rest of the games that I brought earlier, the game is not trying to dramatize, does not try to instruct the player on the true path and instruct him to something. The game simply tells the story and shows the war that it does not look somehow pretentious and claiming more than it claims.
The plot in the first part of the game is like two pennies. Well, the pistol in the sight is purely situational weapons, I can’t say that I constantly used it during the passage of the game. Ah, yes, I forgot to say about the grenades ... Grenades are cool, their implementation is one of the best in games, because you use them constantly, it was very rare for me to have a full pack of grenades, because the reptiles need to be smoked from shelters, but what not to do it, if not grenades?

Well, as you can understand, I love this game with all my heart, it is really cool, it not only set a certain direction for the development of the genre of third -person jackets with shelters, but also showed that the game about huge cabinets of chopping larvae can be cruel, steep and protracting.
