One of the most important thing that everybody needs to take care about, is their skin. Just like our clothes and makeup, it is important to change or tweak our skincare routine with the change in seasons. During summers people protect their skin from tanning, heat, uv rays, sweat and rashes but applying sunscreens, using dirt removing face washes, barring from applying moisturisers, etc. But the same kind of routine cannot be followed during winter seasons. With the change in temperature and environment conditions  our skin also changes. It requires more care and attention to remain free from any kind of damage.

While keeping in mind about bring change in skincare routine one should also make sure to not drastically bring those changes as it can harm our skin more than benefitting it. For an instance if one starts applying excessive cold creams to prevent the skin from drying there are chance that acnes pop outs on their skin due to excessive moisture or if one starts washing their face with hot water instead of cold then their face will appear more dry and swollen than regular. The best way to solve these kinds of problems is by taking baby steps and letting the skin adapt the changes that are being made in skincare routine.

Instead of washing face with warm water during winters, it is suggested to use cold or Luke warm water to let the blood circulation be smoothly and to prevent skin from loosing excess moisture as hot water strips skin of its natural oils. Cold water also soothes the skin and prevents the veins from dilating.

Instead of switching from regular moisturiser to cold cream try applying face oils which are less moisturising than cold creams but moisturising enough to prevent skin from drying and looking dull.

To make skin look healthy and glowing it is also recommended to change the skin care products. During summer season people prefer using creams or face wash that include aloe vera, sandalwood, etc all the products that sooth the skin fro excessive heat. During winters it is best to use cream and milk based moisturisers that actually keep the skin supple and face flushed.
