You might have heard the benefits of tulsi from your mother. It is said to be a miracle plant because it is not only good for health but is also beneficial for your skin. Tulsi is rich in antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Thus, it saves your skin from blackheads, acne and other skin infections.

Here's why you need to include tulsi in your skincare routine:

The health of our skin is affected due to pollution and use of chemical products on daily basis. Tulsi provides deep cleansing effect and removes impurities from your skin. Take some tulsi leaves and crush them. Mix it with water and apply the paste for 10-15 min.

Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties of tulsi helps in fighting acne. You can make face pack by mixing some tulsi leaves with chandan powder and rose water. Leave it for some time on your skin and then rinse off.

Due to our busy schedule, we hardly get time to take care of our skin. This results in accelerating the ageing process. Tulsi helps in reviving the youthful glow.  You just have to boil few tulsi leaves and drink it every morning.

Tulsi contains oils that help in improving your skin complexion.
