How heartbreaking is that! (sobs in the corner)

Now, you have two options - either throw a temper fit and clip your nails (sob-sob) or fix it like the marvellous lady you are. If you are someone who is all up for doing the latter, here we have a simple nail trick to fix your broken nail. All you'd need is a tea bag! Here's how you can go about it:

Step 1: You need to start the process on clean nails so make sure that there is no base coat or any nail polish on your nails.

Step 2: Using a crystal or glass file, gently file away any obstacles, but be sure to avoid the split.

Step 3: Snip a tea bag or paper coffee filter into the size of a small patch that can cover up the break in the nail.

Step 4: Paint the broken nail with a generous amount of clear paint.

Step 5: While the clear polish is still wet, gently place the cropped tea bag over the broken part of the nail with the help of tweezers. Tweezers will help in the correct application.

Step 6: Allow it to dry and then cover your nail with one or two more coats of clear polish.

Step 7: After the clear nail paint has dried you can apply any colour of your choice to conceal the tea bag.
