Step 1: Wash and blow-dry your hair to begin. Spritz some texturising spray onto your hair to add loads of volume and texture in your hair.

Step 2: Next, brush your hair and create a side parting.

Step 3: Take a small section from the bigger side of the parting and start braiding it close to your hairline. You can make a french or dutch braid here. Keep adding hair to it as you go and braid this braid till the end.

Step 4: Secure the braid in place and style the rest of your hair in a regular three-strand braid, including the micro braid you just made.
