Why you should mix face oil with foundation?
Face oil plays a major role when your foundation looks cakey and patchy. It can do wonders for you when your skin is not perfectly hydrated. Makeup artists have discovered that mixing a few drops of face oil can improve the texture of your foundation as well as the skin beneath. Some foundation textures are thick and mixing oil in it can help thin it out so it glides on smoothly and gives a flawless base.
Fret not, if you are an oily skin/ acne-prone skin girl, then you can also benefit from this trick. If your face tends to get oily or shiny then use a setting powder to set the foundation place. However, if you have excessively oily skin, then it's best to not try it out.

There are two ways to go about it! Pour some liquid foundation on your palm and add 2-3 drops of oil to it, mix it well and apply like you usually do. You can also apply the oil directly onto your skin before applying the foundation. However, while using the second method, avoid applying oil on the oily areas of your face like on the T-zone. This will prevent your makeup from looking greasy.
If you are currently using a face oil then you can use that or add a few drops of argan oil. It is loaded with antioxidants and super hydrating for your skin for a natural and dewy finish.
