This hairstyle is easy-to-do, very effortless and requires very little time; just perfect for you to try in the morning post-lockdown. Today, we are talking about the twisted rope hairstyle.

Doesn't matter what the length and texture of your hair is, a twisted rope hairdo is for every girl who loves to add a little *twist* to her hair game.

But let's admit it, as fancy as it may look to sport elaborate braid and bun hairstyles, they cannot be worn every single day. Therefore you need to practise a few simple yet chic hairdos that will not take more than five minutes to achieve but can help you get a lot of compliments.

Here's a step-by-step guide to master a twisted rope hairdo:

Step 1: Use a wide-tooth comb to remove tangles or knots from your hair.

Step 2: Create a deep side parting in your hair with the help of a rat-tail comb.

Step 3: Pick a section of your front hair on your left side and start twisting it backwards. Take a good chunk of hair so that the rope-style looks thick and voluminous.

Step 4: Continue twisting your hair until you reach your ear. Take a bobby pin and secure the twisted rope, just above your ear. You can also use a cute and stylish hairpin to add glamour to your hairdo.

Step 5: Pull the (hair) rope gently to make it look fuller. Finish it off with a hair spray to set your hairdo in place.
