If you have oily skin and don't own a face mist in your vanity yet, this one is for you! DIY a face mist for your beauty kit using these oil-eliminating and refreshing ingredients that will make your skin feel oil-free and fresh in just one-spritz. So, let us help you here on how to prepare one for yourself.

Below is a fantastic face mist recipe that is simply perfect for your oily skin. Just pick up the ingredients from your kitchen and start prepping!

Things you need:

  • A spray bottle
  • Clove oil
  • Neem leaves
  • Rose petals
  • Lemon juice

How to prepare:

In approximately three cups of water, add a bunch of mint leaves and bring it to a boil. Once it is lukewarm, add a few rose petals into and prepare it on a medium flame for about 10 minutes. You can take about two medium-sized roses for it. Strain the water and let it cool down completely.

Now, transfer the water into a spray bottle of your choice and add half a tablespoon of lemon juice and a few drops of clove oil in the mixture. Close the bottle of the cap tightly and shake the bottle to get all the ingredients mixed nicely.

Lemon juice has Vitamin C which is best to control excess oil production. Neem and rose, on the other hand, have antibacterial properties that keep acne at bay and the sweet fragrance of roses can make you feel hydrated and refreshed. And, clove oil helps in controlling oil, provides hydration and prevents acne.

Now, go ahead & use it to feel fresh whenever your face feels oily and sticky!
