Apply a moisturiser

A soothing body moisturiser or lotion should help calm the redness and the hurting razor bumps. After shaving, pat your legs dry with a soft towel and apply a moisturiser. Now, you need to make sure that your moisturiser contains ingredients like shea butter and glycerine to hydrate and soothe the skin on your legs. The moisturiser should also be alcohol-free for you to get the best results.

Apply aloe vera gel

This natural remedy works for almost all the existing skin problems, right from itching caused by dry skin, sunburns to razor bumps. Apply fresh gel extracted from a stem of aloe vera to the irritated areas and let it stay for some time. Rinse it with water after 15-20 minutes of application. This should help in making the skin on your legs feel less irritated and more moisturised.

Cooling pad

Applying a cooling pad or a cloth dipped in cold water to razor bumps will instantly soothe the burning sensation and reduce the redness and pain.  Simply soak a washcloth in cold water and apply it on your legs for 2-3 minutes. Repeat this until your skin feels smoother and the redness is less visible.
