Love knows no boundaries. It is above everything. Even after the Supreme Court lifted the ban on gay sex in India, talking about it is still a taboo here. However, some people listen to their hearts and don't care about what society thinks proving that only love matters. One such couple is Vaibhav Jain and Parag V. Mehta. Both of them smashed stereotypes and took wedding vows in the presence of their families.
They took nuptial vows in Texas on March 30, in a traditional Jain ceremony.  From applying Mehendi to dancing in baaraats, the much-in-love couple made sure to perform every ritual of the Indian wedding. Their pictures have surfaced on the internet and these will surely put a smile on your face.

Prayag and Vaibhav decided to get married after dating for six years. The latter works as a research associate with the American Institutes for Research and Executive Board member of the South Asian Public Health Association whereas Prayag is a senior vice president at Mastercard.

Earlier, CNBC TV 18 quoted Prayag as saying, "Part of what Vaibhav and I (and our parents) have tried to do is to help folks who are sceptical about same-sex relationships see that it's okay to champion the love between two people. It's okay to evolve one's fixed ideas about marriage, sex and tradition."

It is indeed beautiful to see two people in love sharing a life-long commitment. The couple is an inspiration to many who are still struggling to be with the person they love.
