Toning your skin is one essential step between cleaning and hydrating your face that often gets neglected by most of the girls. Well, that shouldn't be done even if you are from the dry skin family. In order to make a facial toner for dry skin, you are going to need two basic ingredients and essential oil of your choice, if you wish to add any for extra moisturisation. Now, take a spray bottle and fill it half way through with rose water or you may call it as gulab jal. Then add 1/4th part of glycerine in the bottle and shake the mixture well. Add a few drops of argan oil or olive oil in the bottle at the end, shake it once again and there you are with your amazing hydrating toner.

Get a bag of green tea and boil it in water till the water gets dark in colour and the tea gets dissolved in the water. Strain the water and let it cool down, then add some aloe vera gel to it and mix it well. Pour the mixture in an ice tray and keep it in the refrigerator to freeze. Voila, you can simply use these ice cubes on your face when needed. Green tea is known for its antioxidant properties which will help you fight acne and aloe vera, on the other hand, provides hydration to your face. The benefits of the base ingredients magnify when used in the form of ice as ice helps in calming down acne or any irritation. You can also go ahead and add a few drops of tea tree oil to the mixture.

OILY SKIN

To make a toner for oily skin you would be needing some aloe vera gel and cucumbers. Start by boiling a few sliced cucumbers in some water and let the water cool down. Later, pour the mixture into a spray bottle and add some aloe vera gel, then shake the bottle well. This toner works effectively for people with oily skin as both the ingredients help in controlling the excess generation of oil on the face as well as soothing your skin for a glowing look.
