UNIQLO x Studio Ghibli Launches New UT Collection With Film Screenings & Immersive Installations

It's official, our favourite Studio Ghibli characters will once again grace the shirts of UNIQLO's UT Collection! Following their collaboration last year, the new “Hey, Let's Go!” collection will have designs for men, kids, and babies, featuring art from the popular Japanese animation studio, as well as designs by Thai artist Kanyada and Studio Ghibli's longtime producer Toshio Suzuki.

While there is no dedicated women's collection, the designs from the men's range work as unisex clothing too. Here are some of our favourite pieces:

The “Hey, Let's Go!” collection will be launched exclusively at UNIQLO's Bugis+ outlet on 17 August. Following that, the items will be available at all UNIQLO stores and UNIQLO.com from 21 August.

To celebrate the launch, fans will stand a chance to win tickets to screenings of Studio Ghibli's most well-known masterpieces. And that's not all, because there will also be adorable Studio Ghibli-themed installations to check out!

Film Screenings

Grab all your friends, because there are free movie tickets to be won! Six of Studio Ghibli's most well-loved films, including Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away, and Whisper of the Heart, will be screened at Golden Village Bugis+ from 17 August to 22 August.

In order to win a pair of movie tickets, all you have to do is take part in the social contest giveaway on UNIQLO's IG account @uniqlosg. There will be three different social contests where tickets for the various movies can be won. More details will be announced on 21 July, 28 July and 4 August, so make sure to note down these dates.

Immersive Installations

Between 18 August and 14 September, shoppers can look forward to plenty of exciting and interactive Ghibli-inspired activities at Bugis+. Pose for pictures at installations of famous Ghibli scenes and characters in the mall's atrium, collect limited-edition Ghibli stamps scattered throughout the mall in your very own stamp rally card, and catch Yubaba from Spirited Away as she makes special appearances!
